Creator
I currently work as a pharmacist and am also the creator of Angry Axolotl. I love playing games with family and friends. That love led to the creation of Angry Axolotl. I came up with the idea because I wanted a game that was quick to learn, easy to play, and entertaining for both kids and adults. Not only have I loved watching my vision for this game unfold, but I’ve also got to meet so many amazing people within the gaming community. I cannot thank all the amazing play testers enough who helped me make this game what it is today.

I’m Jessica’s husband and the biggest Angry Axolotl fan. From the very first idea to the final game, I’ve been there every step of the way - playtesting countless rounds, offering feedback, and handling the business side of things. I’ve loved supporting Jessica’s vision and watching Angry Axolotl come to life. When I’m not working behind the scenes, you’ll probably find me trying to perfect my strategy… or just making sure Jessica doesn’t win too often!
Our Story
Angry Axolotl was born after a family game night when I wanted a card game that was strategic, quick, and accessible for all ages.
The first time we play tested with our friends and family, we didn’t tell them I made the game until after we had played a few rounds. Their reactions were priceless!
We’re dedicated to creating games that bring people together and create lasting memories. We hope you enjoy playing Angry Axolotl as much as we enjoyed making it!
We were lucky to find an amazing artist, a relative of a friend, who helped bring each axolotl to life exactly as we imagined.
